19/10/2004 - Oh, an update!

Not much theme related to tell you though. I don’t have any theme in the works, except for NickelCobalt, which has halted though. I haven’t talked to Paul Johnson in a while, but the delay lies with him because he is too busy to make buttons. I’m ready to work on the theme, I just don’t have anything to work with. I’ll see if I can get ahold of him.

I’ll tell you this much though, when there is an update to ShapeShifter, I’ll start working on updates of my themes to make use of the latest features. Although, Brushed and Mac OS XP I’ll be looking to hand over to other themers as I’ve lost interest in them.

And I’m working on getting a spam filter installed so we can get rid of these annoying comments..

Some personal notes.. I now have a part time job
And no, it’s not as a gui designer.. I work at the local food store at the butcher’s counter, selling grilled chickens, fish, hams etc. It’s a lot more fun than it might sounds and I’m happy to be doing something!
I’m getting closer to taking a driving license as well. I’ve passed the theory test, and I have a time booked at the skid course where I’ll learn to handle the car on slippery surfaces.. and I’m now taking driving lessons in the city, trying to learn to see all the signs.

Brushed is my favorite theme (it’s what started me on themeing and the main reason I check your website every day), if you must give it away, please give it to someone who’ll take good care of it. Also, if you can fix the lighting effects in non-original brushed apps (if even possible), that would be a great way to finish your involvement in Brushed.

Been a fan of your themes for quite awhile - and I have to agree Brushed is my new favorite - hopefully someone will pick up where you left off when the time comes!

I was serious about it, I thought you’d include it in your update.

If you go to the other categories of your site then you’ll notice that clicking on ‘news’ doesn’t have any effect at all.

In other words, you probably created a new page using Dreamweaver and put in a the link before the saving the new document.

That’s at a least what happens to me from time to time.

Cool dude. I’m still patiently awaiting NickelColbalt, BUT when ShapeShifter 2 comes out, can you do BBX Mercury first? I haven’t been able to look at anything in Mac OS X’s gui without your theme turned on.

Aluminum Alloy is my de facto favorite USEABLE them of all time — especially the Toxic variant — so please keep updating it. I don’t know what I’d do without my toxic desktop.

Brushed is my favorite theme and I can’t believe you don’t want to continue with it!! It’s elegant, simple and very easy to use, It’s by far, my favorite theme of all themes available for usability. Just wish it had square corners in the top of windows. Please continue with it!!! Thanks.
