I may be mistaken, but is iFix obsolete, considering application skinning exists?

It’s meant as a compliment to SmoothStripes or Aqua Extreme, mostly for those who use ThemeChanger.
I’ve been thinking about making iFix + SS/AE into a guikit with appskins, but because of all the variations in those themes, I want to wait until ThemePark has a better way to create variations, ie without repeating the same elements in all variations. Otherwise it would be a hassle to make it and a hassle to download because of the file size.
I was always liked that I could apply AE, SS, or Milk as a baseline for ShapeShifter to work ontop of. I hope that you won’t discontinue the DLTAs or iFix - some folks are just trying to make Aqua more consistent vs. all out themeing.
I was wondering if you could include an iFix option that adds blue pressed button states to QuickTime. I know that QuickTime out-of-the-box doesn’t have it but I think it would a lot better when using “blue”. iTunes has it so why not QuickTime!
There is an option for that in the installer. Click the Advanced button and you can tell it to install the blue variations instead of the normal traffic colors.
That not what I meant. I’m talking about the Play/Pauze, forward, backward buttons. Not the min, max and close buttons.
mmhmm - I’ve been working on NickelCobalt for the past few days and come quite a bit. It’s probably 50% done. The hold up is mostly Paul, but I’ve talked to him via email and told him which elements that he needs to make. He told me he’s going away, but will start to work on it next week. So hopefully this theme will be available for download by the end of the year at least.
XP-01 - I have little interest in making a Blue variation for QuickTime, I’ll think about it.
