12/02/2005 - Got a new job!

I have been employed by a company that makes GUIs for cellphones, called Ocean Observations. I’ve been working there for 3 weeks now and it’s fun. I’ve been making some icons for a demo and now I’m working on a full GUI.
While I find it a bit rough to get up for work 5 days of the week, I’m happy to finally be earning my own money. And I do plan on making som purchases.. Possibly a 20″ Cinema Display

I wish I were as lucky with finding work Max, I’m in the exact same position you were a few months ago. Try to find a job (a good job…) . Hopefully I get one that seems as fun and challenging as yours.

Ahh, I know that problem with getting up 5 days a week - good news is: after a while you get used to it and it won’t be that bad anymore!!

The job is great!
I’m working on an obscure phone gui that will only be used by the Norwegian police, medics and fire department, so so far I’m not working on something you can get. I have how ever made some themes for Sony Ericsson phones:

Cool, Max. Your Milk theme was the only thing that kept me sane back on Jaguar… I still think Apple ought to hire you to do a complete makover on OS X, but in the meantime this sounds like a great job while we’re waiting for them to come to their senses.
